OUR STORY

THE STORY OF VILLA LOTUS FLOWER SANUR

With Andi’s help we sub leased this villa for a number of years because it was in a prime location and had good ‘bones’.

It was in desperate need of a good clean, painting and refurbishing.

We were fortunate enough to be able to choose the name of the villa, and so Villa Lotus Flower Sanur was born. The lotus flower theme begins at the front entrance, over the embellished stepping stones, past the lotus flower pot, with a touch of Lotus Flower and turquoise tastefully scattered throughout the villa.

Lavarna did some healing work to cleanse and freshen the energy of the property. Everyone who steps into our beautiful space comments on how good it feels.

HERE ARE SOME BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS ……….

Changing from brown and beige to Turquoise entrance doors has created a bright and welcoming feeling.

It’s amazing what a coat of paint and a newly planted garden does to lift the vibe and make a wonderful first impression!!

Bedroom makeover with beautiful new local teak furniture and bedding bits. What a difference!!

From kitchen chaos to new shelving, cooktop, drawers, hot water and sink makes such a difference. Fresh, clean and functional.

New sofa, mirror and paintings from local craftsman, as well as a few decorative pieces to add to the lovely feeling in this space. We reused the kitchen table (added a new table runner and a light) and the wall piece above the TV which looks great.

From this to a fresh lovely look.

As you can see we added some Western features to make the place comfortable, with locally made furnishings and fixtures. With some TLC and energy work, Villa Lotus Flower Sanur is back to looking its best.

Lavarna had some funny experiences and lots of learning on Marketplace Indonesia, as well as communicating and ordering products with Google Translate to small businesses all over Bali. We now have great contacts and lots of new Bali friends and colleagues that we will engage for their services in the future.

We quickly realised that our goals and values were aligned with Andi’s, who agreed to join our team and PT Mijarna Property Group (a blend of our three names) was formed.
